Best known as the largest church in Ilocos Norte. The Church was built in 1779 and it was originally known as San Miguel Church in remembrance of the first Augustian Missionaries that arrived in Sarrat.
Connected by a stairway to the church is a former convent, also known as Casa Del Palacio Real. The convent is also a survivor of two fires: one in March 1816 and the other in October 1892. It is now the repository of the town’s artifacts and memorabilia.
